Microsoft Access – Merge Many-To-One Records to Microsoft Word

I’ve got to give all props to Graham Mayor. His add-on was brilliant and did the job! If you need to have more than one record put on a Word document, based on a field’s value, Graham’s add-on is your solution.

If you have several items that need billed to one account, for example, you need this add-on. Click here to go to Graham’s site. Scroll all the way to the bottom to download the add-on. Follow the instructions on where to put the files once downloaded.

To find the location of your startup path, open WORD, go to your Developer tab, (If you don’t see the Developer tab, click “File”, “Options”, “Customize Ribbon”, then on the right side, check the box next to “Developer”) click on “Visual Basics”, in the “Immediate” window, type “?application.Startup” and hit enter. A link will pop up. Copy that link and paste it in Windows Explorer (Not Internet Explorer!). Copy the files you downloaded (after you’ve unzipped them) and paste them here).
